HOW TO MAKE SANDALS
5 simple designs for Cord- Crochet- and Door-Mat Soles
Skill-level: Intermediate.

Unlike my one-piece slippers, where outsoles are an option, sandals can not be made without soles.
Sandals need solid soles, as they should be wearable on the street.

With a good pair of handmade Cord-Soles, or Crocheted twine-soles, Door-Mat soles, or the new No Poke FLIP-FLOP Sole Method, there are no limit for what you can create on top of them!

In HOW TO MAKE SANDALS you will learn how to create simple instep-sandals customized for your feet, exactly as your outsoles are.

Crocheted top-pieces:
Twine, string, or any kind of yarn-quality suitable for your project.
Cotton is great, or fibers like jute, bast, flax or hemp.
Tip: Mix different yarn qualities, colors, and crochet
stitches, to achieve different effects for the sandals.

Crochet hook:
Any hook-size to match your yarn.

Gauge:
Not important for this project, but strap-sandals
need tight gauge and small stitches to keep the shape.

Sizes:
Any Size.
