How We Roll
This is how you roll: with fingerless mitts knit in stockinette, featuring a stockinette roll in black at the fingers and the thumb. Or use a different contrasting color for your roll- hot pink, red, yellow…the rolled edge provides a great way to use up leftover worsted-weight yarn in all kinds of colors.
Finished Measurements: 9 inches in length before the mitt’s end is rolled down; after rolling it down,8 inches in length. 8 1/4” circumference.
Sizing: Best fits a hand with circumference of up to 8 inches. Measure around your hand with a tape measure at the widest part to find your hand circumference.
Yarn: Cascade 220, 100% Peruvian Highland wool. Main color: Charcoal Gray, Color no. 8400. Contrasting color: Black, Color no. 8555.
Gauge: 6 stitches per inch, or 24 stitches in a 4-inch swatch
Needles: U.S. Size 5 DPNS or two U.S. Size 5 24” circular needles, or whatever size needed to get gauge
