Hudson the Hippo mini keeper is a small treasure keeper that can hold candies or toys. He’s part of the new Mini Keeperz series by the Knotty Designer. When he’s flat, he’s like a ragdoll, ready to be played or cuddled with.

The pattern uses worsted weight #4 yarn and an F (3.75 MM) hook. I used Caron Simply in Grey Heather. Thicker worsted weight #4 yarn may make the hippo bigger. The hippo is approximately 9 inches from nose to tail. The listing includes 2 versions of the pattern (with or without a separate head).

The pattern includes options using safety eyes, sew on buttons, Velcro or regular buttons. Pictures are included in the pattern to help with placement of pieces.
