The Hudson Valley Pullover is a basic, top-down knit raglan style sweater with a ribbed crew neck and cuffs and a high/low hem. It is a very simply constructed sweater to knit with very minimal seaming. The yoke is knit first and then the arms are separated onto scrap yarn. Then the body is knit, the hem split and the front is completely separately from the back in order to create the high/low hem. The sleeves are completed last and once you’ve sewn up the small holes under the arms, you’re all done! Please feel free to do “try on sessions” as you go - it’s a bonus of knitting raglan style sweaters!

What you will need:
795 (860, 924, 990, 1054, 1120, 1185) yards (727, 787, 845, 905, 964, 1024, 1084 meters) in any worsted weight yarn (like Malabrigo Worsted)
Size 7 US (4 mm) circular knitting needles with a 9” cable (or 4 double pointed needles)
Size 7 US (4 mm) circular knitting needles with a 16” cable
Size 10.5 US (6.5 mm) circular knitting needles with a 29” cable
Size 10.5 US (6.5 mm) circular knitting needles with a 9” cable (or 4 double pointed needles)
4 stitch markers (1 of them in a different color or shape to identify as the “round starting” marker)
