Hues of Blues Shell Stitch Blanket
This striped crochet baby blanket features a texture-rich shell stitch in 4 colors. The pattern includes instructions to make both a travel size blanket (24” x 30”) and a crib size blanket (30” x 40”).
This is a beginner pattern, but does require the knowledge of basic crochet stitches: chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, and slip stitch.
Materials needed:
-190 yards in each 4 colors of worsted weight yarn for travel size, or 250 yards in each 4 colors of worsted weight yarn for crib size (I used Caron Natura One Pound for my example.)
-size K (10 1/2) crochet hook
-tapestry needle for weaving in ends
