You can make your own Hug-a-Bug using our instantly downloadable PDF crochet pattern. You don’t even need to wait for the postman!

To make your Hug-a-Bug you’ll need Chunky Yarn (I used Wendy Merino Chunky and Wendy Serenity Chunky), oddments of double knitting yarn, a 3.5 and 4.5mm hook and some toy stuffing.
I used 130g/182 metres of red, 100g/140 metres of purple, 10g/14 metres of cream and 20g/28 metres of grey in Chunky and oddments of orange, silver grey, red and cream in Double Knit.
