This pattern was born at the start of the pandemic. I needed something soothing and repetitive to calm my soul, and so Hug Me Tender was created.

I hope that you find this pattern to be a gentle hug to your soul as well, from me to you.

This triangular shawl is designed to be a gentle, soothing knit. It consists of mostly garter stitch, interrupted at even intervals with 2 rows of lace. It is finished off with a beautiful border of delicate twisted rib cables and more garter stitch. Finally, the bind off edge has a picot detail to complete the look.
