Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge, and use a cable of a length comfortable to work with.

Gauge (after blocking, measured unstretched)
With US 8 (5 mm) needle,
14 sts & 24 rows / rnds = 4” / 10 cm in garter stitch
With US 6 (4 mm) needle,
20 sts & 26 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in K2, P1 rib stitch

Notions
10 stitch markers (1 for BOR M, 3 for the outer body, 4 for the inner body and 2 for the sleeves), tapestry needle, scissors, stitch holder or waste yarn

Pattern Note
The sweater is worked from the top down.

On the yoke, increases are made at a total of 10 points: 8 on the body and 2 on the sleeves. At the end of the yoke, only the back is worked back and forth to make the back higher.
Then, the body and sleeves are separated and the sleeve stitches are placed on a separate piece of yarn (stitch holder). New stitches are cast on at the underarm, and the body is knit in the round to the hem.

The held sleeve stitches are returned onto the needle and a few sts are picked up at the underarm cast-on edge, and the sleeves are knit in the round.

パターンノート
トップダウンで編むセーター.
ヨークでは身頃8か所, 袖2か所の合計10か所で増し目をする. ヨークの終わりで後ろ身頃のみ引き返し編みをして前後差を作る.
身頃と袖を分け, 袖の目は別糸 (ステッチホルダー)に休め, 新たに脇下に作り目をし, 身頃を輪で編む.
休めていた袖の目を針に戻し, 脇下の作り目を拾い,
袖を編む.
