Hugging Again
Where would we be without our friends? This has been a crazy tough year for everyone and we’re finally getting back to doing the things we love. I would like to say how grateful I am for the wonderful friends in my life. I’m sending out a giant hug of thanks for the hikes (even in the dead of winter), outdoor knitting sessions and all sorts of communication – zoom meetings, calls, texts, chats – it was all wonderful! I’m a hugger and it’s so good to be able to hug again.
As I was starting this ponchette, I talked with friends, detailing my plans for the yarn and beads, and received a great deal of encouragement from them. It made me realize, once more, how much I value their shared experiences, suggestions and feedback. I am grateful to everyone for their inspiration, support and long lasting friendships. I’m so glad we can hug again!

Pattern Notes
The poncho is approximately 28” in circumference at the neck, 13” deep from the neck edge to the bottom edge x 60” in circumference at the widest part of the bottom. It is knit in the round, from the top down. Gauge is 5 sts./in., 7 rows/in., stockinette stitch.
The beads are placed between purl stitches, indicated by PB. Purl a stitch, pull a bead close to that stitch, purl the next stitch. The bead in positioned between two purl stitches.
As much as I love this yarn, many other dk weight yarn choices will work with this pattern. Enjoy!
