It´s not lace, it´s not cable, it´s a clever little stitch creating a lovely texture which is very springy and very warm. The hat is best worn when it´s not over stretched

Knitted with Rowan Wool Cotton 4ply with a ridge detail in a contrast colour (optional ).

I left out the top ridge on the pink hat to let you see what it looks like.

The hat has 3-4” (7.5 - 10 cm) negative ease

Width -2-4 years : body 6” (15 cm) - 225 yrds
5-8 years : body 6.5” (16.5 cm) - 256 yrds
8-12 years : body 7” (18 cm) - 287 yrds

Length 2-4 years : 8” (20 cm) then turn the brim up
5-8 years : 8.5” (21.5 cm)
8-12 years : 9” (23 cm)

To fit head circumference
2-4 years : 17” (43 cm)
5-8 years : 18.5” (47 cm)
8-12 years : 19.5” (49.5 cm)
