The Hugs & Kisses Bookmark was inspired by my love of romance novels and romantic gestures. My husband and I leave sweet little notes on our bathroom mirror in dry erase marker and always leave each other x’s and o’s or hugs and kisses. The fun textured stitches look like our cute little x’s and o’s.

The Hugs & Kisses Bookmark is a fun textured decoration to mark your place in your favorite book. It is a fun and easy bookmark that can be made in any color or multiple colors and is perfect for vendor markets. These are also perfect for back to school, teacher gifts, birthday or holiday gifts, to just spoil a book lover in your life, and so much more.

Materials:
• 20 yards Lion Brand Bon Bon or similar Sport Weight #2
• E/4 (3.5mm) hook
• tapestry needle
• blocking mat
• blocking pins
fabric stiffener Note: I used Aleene’s Original Stiffen Quik https://amzn.to/3sa5eNW
• charm or bead

Gauge: 10 hdc x 8 patterned rows = 2”
