This pattern uses a combination of puff stitches and crossed DC stitches to create a unique texture and a diagonal lattice effect. Although a worsted weight yarn is named, any yarn could be used with the appropriate hook for the yarn. It has only been tested with solids, but it would work well with self-striping yarn, as well as with manual color control. Results might not be the same if a variegated yarn pattern is used.
