Hug and Kisses (Klemmer og Kyss) Hat

This is a collaboration with Blue Mule Fiber. Their beautiful Dibe DK yarn is held together with Wisp Lace, which is a mohair silk blend that gives this hat a huggably soft feel. This beanie has a cable pattern that has alternating X’s with knit squares. I added a large pom pom for an added level of cute. This hat is knit from the bottom rib up to the crown.

NEEDLES
Size US 4 (3.5mm) 16 inch circular needle for ribbing.
Size US 6 (4.0mm) 16 inch circular needle for body and DPN’s for crown.
Tapestry needle, stitch markers.

GAUGE
24 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches (10cm) in cable pattern.
