The aran yarn makes it quick to knit, while the cabled pattern – with its kisses – keeps it interesting. The reverse is moss stitch, adding texture and extra thickness to the cosy, and it fastens with a button at the back, for ease of getting your hot water bottle wrapped up.
You do need to use a cable needle for this project - I rather stupidly forgot to add that to the list of materials on the pdf, sorry.
