A hundred hugs and kisses! Well, 104 to be exact. This blanket has alternating columns of Xs and Os, and whether you call them hugs and kisses, exes and ohs, or oughts and noughts, it’s a simple but beautiful repeating pattern and makes a the perfect blanket to wrap your loved one in.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 5 balls of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4 oz/180g (Image shown is the colour ‘Dijon’).

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 46” by 55” (117 cm by 140 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It yarn and Alize Puffy fine yarns can all be used with this pattern but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as-is (approximately 2-3, depending on yarn used).
