It’s officially my last tote bag pattern of the year! I was looking at an old letter I received a while back, and was completely inspired by the XOXO at the signature!

I LOVE texture, and this bag has so much texture and character! I used a new version of a long loop stitch, and a very tall X, separated by lines of post stitches, keeping it orderly while still showing off how special each stitch is! I’ve given extensive picture instruction for both the X-Stitch and the Long Loop Stitch, but you will need a basic understanding of the usual crochet stitches: Single Crochet, Double Crochet, Half-Double Crochet, Post stitches, Slip Stitches, and Chains.

The finished item will measure 11 x 13 inches, not including handles. You will need a 5.5mm hook and #4 cotton yarn.
