Húgva means hat or beanie in Faroese. The pattern for Húgva is actually 3 patterns in 1.

The measurements are onesize for adults and onesize for kids. The measurements vary a little, after which pattern is used and yarntype. Fx when using the Faerytale yarn the beanie will be a little wider and looser.
The beanie for adults is approx 50 cm /20 inches in circumference and 27 cm / 11 inches from top to bottom. The beanie for kids is approx 46 cm /18 inches in circumference and 24 cm / 9.5 inches from top to bottom.
The gauge in the rib pattern is 18 sts per 10 cm / 4 inches . The most challenging of the 3 patterns is the brick pattern. Difficulty: intermediate. The beanie is knitted from bottom up.
