Humber Socks

A good “next pair” after your basic vanilla sock, the Humber Socks have a little bit of a stitch pattern that is easily memorized after a few rounds. Pattern is written for 4 ply Sock yarn and double pointed needles, and is available in 3 sizes.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Leg circumference (approx) 18 (20.5, 23) cm/ 7 (8, 9) ins
MATERIALS
1 skein of 4 ply Sock yarn/ Fingering weight yarn, approx 100 g/ 3½ oz and 400 m/ 437 yds
2.5 mm/ US 1½ double pointed needles, or size required to achieve correct tension
8 stitch markers and 1 removable stitch marker (to mark beg of round - this is optional)
Yarn needle
GAUGE
36 sts and 48 rows = 10 cm/ 4 ins over Stockinette stitch, after blocking. Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge.
