Humble Beginnings Hat
I wanted to knit some design that would fade from one color to another to use with the 6 hanks of Humble Acres Sport weight yarn I had impulse purchased. I had the idea to make a cocoon set for twins to be snuggled down into together. When I worked at the birth center I used to always swaddle twins together. It just seems right for them to be all squashed up together. I like to design hats to go with my cocoons, and I grade them for sizes from newborn to adult large. This hat has a twin/preemie size as well. This is a simple stockinette stitch pattern that allows the yarn to really shine. See my Ravelry store for the coordinating cocoon pattern.
Yarn:
Humble Acres Sport Acid Trip
Humble Acres Sport Groot in Autumn
Humble Acres Sport Vintage
Humble Acres Sport Bisbee
Humble Acres Sport Abalone Shell

Less than 1 ball of each color.
When choosing yarn for this it helps if there are some cross over colors from one color way to the next. The color ways can vary widely, but it helps if they do have one or two colors in common.
