This is a two colour disc with a raised ‘puffy’ feel. The surrounding grey stitches both help to form the humbug, and square the disc so that they can be joined together more easily. These humbugs are made from 4 ply cotton yarn with a 3mm hook and measure 4cm across. However you could make these with any yarn weight and an appropriate hook to make larger or smaller motifs.

Once you’ve got the hang of it, humbugs will be flying off your hook, possibly faster than you can decide what to do with them!
