This tiny little hummingbird is knitted flat and seamed. The pattern uses the Intarsia technique for the colour work sections which is laid out in a straightforward and easy to follow way.

1m (1 1/10yd) black yarn
8m (3 1/4in) skein of Light Effect embroidery thread
Two black 5mm (1/5in) safety eyes
Toy filling

Finished size: 9cm (3 1/2in) from top of head to tail
