The Humpback Pillow is a color work pillow that is worked in the round. The chart is worked twice across the round to form the identical front and back seamlessly. The top and bottom are stitched closed once the project is blocked. I used a mattress stitch around the columns of stitches which give the appearance of a continuous knit fabric. Once the pillow is stitched to the point that only a 6” opening is left you add ploy-fil or a pillow insert being careful not to overstuff the pillow which would distort the stitches.

Suggested Needles and Notions:
Needle sides are suggestions. Using sizes needed to obtain correct gauge
-US 5 32” circular needle
BOR Marker + additional markers
Darning needle

Blocking Mat and pins

Gauge
Worked in Stranded Color work pattern
20 STS and 31 Rows = 4” after blocking
Gauge is not the most important thing in this project, having a nice dense fabric that will not let your poly fill through is more important. Difference in gauge will effect the finished size off the project.

Finished Measurements 10.5” X 20.5”
