We crocheted a smaller version of our Humphrey bear with a single strand of Comfort™ DK and a larger sized one with a double strand. (Berroco)

Materials

1 Ball Berroco Comfort DK (50 grs), #2703 Barley

Crochet hook, size 4.50 mm (G) for Large Bear
Crochet hook, size 3.50 mm (E) for Small Bear
Small amount black yarn
Polyester stuffing
Tapestry needle

Use the same directions for both size bears. Use 2 strands of yarn held tog and size 4.50 mm (G) hook for large bear. Use 1 strand of yarn and size 3.50 mm (E) hook for small bear.
