Hundred Acre Shawl
Pattern Inspiration:
This pattern was designed for the 2024 Dyeing Wishes Advent-ures of Winnie the Pooh box! The colors were so classic and nostalgic, so I wanted to design a shawl that had that heirloom feeling, timeless and beautiful. I also wanted the pattern to be very flexible, with options for using one, two, or three sock sets for different sized shawls, as well as both sock and DK weight.
Basic Information:
Pattern is written in US crochet terms.
Yarn: Sock weight (weight 1) - approximately 1440 yards. I used approximately 1350 yards of Dyeing Wishes Shocking SW/N Sock yarn (399 yards/100g) in a variety of colors. DK weight (weight 3) - approximately 885 yards. I used approximately 800 yards of Dyeing Wishes Shocking SW/N DK (245 yards/100g) in a variety of colors.
Hook: 4mm for sock weight, 5mm for DK weight, or size needed to meet gauge.
Finished size: Sock - 85” wide, 38” deep. DK - 66” wide, 32” deep, after blocking.
Gauge: See first 6 rows of each yarn weight.
