Hungarian Cardigan
by Edina Ronay
The Edina Ronay Collection was published by Sidgwick and Jackson, London, 1988. This pattern was also available by mail-order from a newspaper or magazine. Edina Ronay is of Hungarian descent (daughter of restaurant critic Egon Ronay) and stated that her collection of Hungarian textiles was the inspiration for the pattern. Rowan Fine Chenille was used doubled to fit with the tension of the DK wool. The intarsia chart was published with the pattern.
