This blanket was designed for a close friend who was born in Hungary.
Sizing: Finished dimensions are based on the average size for a twin bed at 65” by 90”.

Materials:
Yarn: Brava Bulky by Knit Picks. This is a Bulky 100% Acrylic yarn which is machine washable and dryable. It is very durable, soft, and has tons of color options, so it is perfect for a fun colorful blanket.
C1: Hunter 952 yards or 7 skeins
C2: White 952 yards or 7 skeins
C3: Red 952 yards or 7 skeins
Gauge: 13 stitches and 24 rows/4” garter stitch. Please note that the gauge is mostly important for determining how much yarn is needed.
Needles: US 10 ½ 40” circulars, or any size that obtains gauge
Notions: Darning needle to weave in ends

Pattern:
This pattern is worked flat alternating between colors in 20 inch blocks. To keep the back side neat, it is best to knit the blanket using the intarsia technique, with a separate skein of yarn for each color section.
