Hungry Shark
This shark was made for my brother in-law who lost his leg after an airplane accident a few years ago. He saw a picture of a shark sock on the internet and made a joke about needing one for his leg. I decided to try and make him one without him knowing and I was able to finish it just before his birthday.
It would also make a great shark toy if you decided to stuff it completely and close off the mouth.
It is mostly knitted in the round with short rows in the nose and fins.
I used size 1 needles and sport weight yarn for the teeth. The eyes are black safety eyes.
There is a rumor that he may also work as a hat! I sadly cannot test this theory myself since the shark no longer lives with me.
