Hunting song
The name is inspired by the Mendelssohn piece Op. 19, No. 3.
These gloves are very basic in design, leaving imagination for whatever you may like! Add fair isle, stripes, or cables if you wish to them (these are not included in the directions).
For a cast-on, it is recommended to try a tubular cast-on. This is not explained in the pattern, but being a very stretchy and appealing cast-on, it is a good one to learn and try!
There are four sizes presented in the pattern. If you wish for a tighter fit, choose a smaller size and stretch the glove to your hand while the glove is blocking.
The gloves shown were made in the smallest size but were blocked to a woman’s medium/large size in order to fit very tightly.
