Step into the fantasy! This Hunger Games inspired asymmetrical sleeveless cowl is an excellent addition to any wardrobe.
Three US sizes available - small/medium, large/xlarge, 2x/3x - If you are interested in a size that isn’t listed, please feel free to email me!
Materials: 7mm hook (or what is needed to obtain gauge), 500-700 yards of #4 worsted weight yarn, sewing needle, scissors

Stitches used: US Terminology chain, single crochet, half double crochet, half double crochet front loops only (HDCFLO), half double crochet back loops only (HDCBLO), HDCBLO increase, HDCBLO decrease, camel stitch (optional), crab stitch (optional). Special stitches are explained within the pattern.

Gauge: This pattern can fit a variety of body types, therefore gauge is not as important as with a standard garment pattern; as long as you are within 0.5 inches, you’re good.
- Chain 13
- R1 - HDC in 2nd chain from the hook and in each stitch across. Ch. 1 and turn (12hdc)
- R2 to R7 - HDCBLO across. Ch1 and turn.
I want everyone to feel comfortable with being able to read my pattern style, so here is a small pattern segment to give you a better idea of how I write my patterns.
Pattern Segment:
Row 10 - HDCBLO in first 8 sts, HDCBLO INC in next st repeat across until 6 sts remain and HDCBLO in those last 6 sts, ch1 and turn. (76sts)
Row 11 - HDCBLO across, ch1 and turn. (76sts)
Row 12 - HDCBLO in first 5 sts, HDCBLO INC in next st, HDCBLO in next 9sts, HDCBLO INC in next st repeat across, ch1 and turn. (84sts)
Row 13 - HDCBLO across, ch1 and turn. (84sts)
Row 14 - HDCBLO in first 3 sts, HDCBLO INC in next st, HDCBLO in next 9sts, HDCBLO INC in next st repeat across, ch1 and turn. (93sts)
