Hurdle stitch is one of my favourite stitch patterns for household items and makes a great texture for this bath mat, plus it is reversible so you can use both sides. This pattern is for a bath mat sized 36cm(W) x 60cm(L) as it was originally made up for my own bathroom but easily adaptable to make it longer, just knit more rows!

This pattern is written in UK terms with US terms in brackets.

Materials/Tools Needed:
DMC Nova Vita 12 in three shades, one skein of each (to make it longer, you will need one more of each shade)
In this pattern I used:
011 (COLOUR A)
003 (COLLUR B)
031 (COLOUR C)
12mm needles (US Size 17) straight or circular (at least 40cm long if using straight needles)
12mm Crochet Hook (optional)
Large eye tapestry needle
