Continuing my obsession with the Hurdle Stitch, I made these are very simple little boot toppers knit with worsted weight yarn. I wanted something to wear over my ankle boots so I made these narrow at the top and increased stitches to make them wider at the bottom to fit over my boots a bit. Alternatively they can be worn inside a boot and folded over. The size and length can easily be adjusted.

For the sample I used Dancing Leaf Dyeworks Charlston Grey. I knit another pair with some left over grey and maroon sock yarn held together.

Super easy pattern to remember and keep straight. Keep it in your bag and pull it out to work on if you’re having some wine with friends or taking a walk.
