Hurricane Ridge
Even though the pattern is very stretchy, feedback from knitters is that the smallest version can be one less repeat, and the longest version can be one more repeat. Therefore:
Version A - which becomes a snug neck gaiter: Cast on 105 stitches (5 repeats).
Version C - Cast on 231 stitches (11 repeats). You will probably want to knit a couple of rows before joining!
Pattern revision coming soon.
Horizontal and vertical stripes echo the lines of Hurricane Ridge, forming a cowl that is simultaneously geometric and soft. The pattern includes three different size and shape options: a stand-up collar version that can be folded or pinned under a jacket or coat, a deep neck-hugging cowl, and a longer cowl that can be worn as is or wrapped twice around your neck.
Skill level: Intermediate; Provisional cast-on and grafting. (Alternative cast-on and bind-off are suggested.)
Feel free to send me a message if you have questions, comments or suggestions.
Hope you enjoy knitting it as much as I did.
