Hushabye Sleeping bag
This pattern is no longer available.
Whilst I have always taken care to include a note regarding infant safety, I am no longer selling this pattern. This is due to a recent UK Government Product Safety Report highlighting the potential risks to babies and infants using such products.
Reminiscent of homely ‘granny squares’ this simple sleeping bag is perfect for newborn babies to snuggle up in.
DK weight yarn, approximate meterage used:
Colour 1: 580m
Colour 2: 232m
Colour 3: 116m
Measures 37cm wide x 44cm long (excluding hood)
Hood measures approx 23cm from top of bag to point of hood.
Can easily be adjusted to suit larger babies.
Note:
For baby’s safety if is important to ensure the bag is not so large they can slip down too far as this can cause them to get overheated. As with any bedding, their face should remain above the cover which should tuck under their arms, and make sure they are placed with their feet at the end of their crib, Moses basket, pram etc. Please refer to current health advice/guidelines regarding bedding for newborns and babies.
