This granny square is designed for the HUUGS (Help With a Granny Square) project. (Of course you can use it for yourself, as this is a free pattern!)
About the project:
I have seen so many FB posts on my news feed about sick children and hopeless parents asking for help. As a mother my heart breaks for them. I would like to help at least one family and here is an idea I came up with:
~I designed a free granny square pattern
~anyone who is interested makes one granny square and mail it to me
~I’ll put them together to make an afghan and list it for an auction
~people could bid on it and all the funds would go to the family

Please use Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, any SOLID color! The finished square has to be 6 3/4 inches. (I used an I hook)

Please mail the square to me by 7/20/2014, you have about a month :)
