The yarn company of the suggested yarn has recently changed its name: from Regenbogenschaf to SKUDDERIA.

This beautiful color, hand-dyed by Das Regenbogenschaf on the new Pinta yarn, reminded me of some kind of seashell I found near Hvide Sande, in Jylland (Denmark), a few years ago, and a short magic moment of being alone on an empty winter beach. This resemblance provided the name – which also means ‘White sands’. Accordingly, I have selected the ‘Shell Lace’ stitch for the sleeve tops.

Hvide Sande picks up some of my favorite design elements, to begin with my own YoRa’ construction: a round yoke for the front and a classic Raglan in the back. The lace panels sitting on top of the sleeves create a ‘natural border’ between back and front, which makes it easier to remember which kind of increases need to be worked where.

On the lower body, the radial increases are continued on the front and shape its rounded hem.

Yarn requirements: 1200/ 1320/ 1440/ 1560/ 1700 meters of Das Regenbogenschaf Pinta (425m/ 100g), or any other Light Fingering yarn which gives you gauge.
