HYBRIDEA
Hybridea is a fun project bag for handknits, for travelling or for storing your tablet.

Hybridea consists of two ­panels knit separately from side to side, which are later sewn into a bag on a sewing machine.

SIZE
Approximately 37 cm wide x 28 cm high (along the side) in finished shape. Knitted panels ­measure about 39 cm wide x 35 cm high after blocking, ­using 3.5 mm needles.

YARN
Emelily Knits Sport (handdyed 100% merino), 300 m/100g (sport weight).
Color A: Rotvältan (beige/brown), 75g/225m
Color B: Moonwalk (speckled light grey), 75g/225m

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

• 3.5 mm/US4/UK9.5 circular needles 60 cm/24”.
• A couple of stitch markers.
• 2 pieces of iron-on interfacing in the same size as the finished panels.
• 2 pieces of lining fabric (woven cotton) in the same size as the finished panels.
• Optional: 2 small pieces of lining fabric to make the zipper tabs, of at least the width of the zipper and the length of about 3 times the width.
• Plastic zipper of at least the length of the ­finished knitted panels.

Sewing machine with polyester thread in a similar color to the knitted fabric, and an iron.
