The design is characteristic for the modern Scandinavia with a minimalistic look.

By using a simple method described and illustrated in the pattern, I will show you how to knit beautiful neat edges. The bag is knitted back and forth on circular needles.

The pattern includes two sizes: 0-6 months (size S) and 6-12 months (size L), but you can easily make your own size by adding stitches and rows.

This pattern has written instructions row by row and has links to videos showing how to make buttonholes and how to knit the neat edge. I have even included pictures explaining how to begin and end the rows.

You will need 8 or 10 buttons (size S and L)

The bunting bag is knitted in Drops Nepal. 1 skein of Drops yarn is 50 grams and 82 yards/75 meters.

Small: 20 x 49.2 in / 50 x 125 cm - 750 yards/450 g
Large:  21.7 x 63 in / 55 x 160 cm - 1100 yards/650 g
