Hygge sweater kids
Enjoy this pattern 25% discount till the end of February 16th with no coupon code needed.
Sweater is worked from the top down. The construction starts at the shoulders, with some short rows. The back and the fronts are worked separately up to the armholes, and then everything is joined to complete the body in one piece. The sleeves are picked up around the armholes and also worked in the round.
The Back, sleeves, shoulders and Fronts are knitted in ribbing 1x1 (slip stitch rib).
The table shows the exact measurements of the chest circumference without regard of positive ease. Hygge is designed to have approx. 18 - 20 cm 7 - 7.8 inches of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 18 - 20 cm 7 - 7.8 inches larger in circumference than your bust measurement.
For example, if you measure 58 cm 23 in around your bust, you should knit a size 5-6 yrs. A size 5-6 yrs sweater has a chest circumference of 80 cm 31.5 inches which in the given example will give you 20 cm 7.8 inches of positive ease.
