Hyla Cowl
Hyla Cowl is a winter accessory staple. I first dreamt up this cowl after I finished working my Hyla Sweater. The classic and easy to make cables really pop on the squishy garter background. This cowl would be a perfect gift to pass on to a loving friend to keep them warm in the cold. It also knits up very quickly!
Hyla Cowl begins with a provisional cast-on so that it can be later grafted together with the cowl end. This makes a seamless loop cowl for easy wearing; you won’t have to worry about your seam showing. This cowl is then worked in the round in a simple cable and garter round repeat. After the desired cowl width is created, you finally graft the cast on edge and cowl end live sts together.
Difficulty Level: Adventurous Beginner. Skills needed are provisional cast-on, knitting in the round, cable knitting, and grafting.
