these traditional mens socks are sized for a medium man although the leg ribbing gives plenty of stretch so they will fit most men. They are also perfectly sized for ladies to wear over trousers as boot socks and look fantastic with the cuff turned down over the top of the boot.

I used approximately 200g pure scottish 4ply wool for the socks and approximately 25g of a contrast colour for the cuffs.

The colour work on the cuffs is very simple and only uses knit and slip stitches
