You will get two separate patterns since the stitch and yarn calculations highly differ between shawl and shawlette.

The pattern includes a photo tutorial showing a specific and perhaps new technique, detailed instructions and charts (no written pattern).

Most photos show the bigger shawl version using lace yarn; photo #5 shows the smaller shawlette using 4ply yarn.
