Hypno Mittens & Fingerless Gloves
Hypno - mittens and fingerless gloves
I love geometric shapes, especially when rendered in monochrome shades of black and grey. I called this design ‘Hypno’ as decentering the smaller squares of each repeat gives a slight hypnotic feeling. You can choose to knit the Hypno mittens or fingerless gloves … or both!

Pattern notes
These mittens (or fingerless gloves) are worked from bottom to top. The cuff is worked in 1x1 rib in alternating shades, then the hand is worked in stranded colourwork, inserting waste yarn for an afterthought thumb. After the hand is completed, the top is finished with mitten shaping or half fingers, and the thumb is worked separately.
