This cool sweater is a perfect way for every Batman-loving doll to show the world who their favorite superhero is. Your doll will be the envy of every Batman fan everywhere!

The sweater is meant to fit an 18-inch American Girl doll, as shown in the pictures. However, it will also fit similar dolls, such as Our Generation, My Life As, and others. I added a sizing chart to the pictures, to help you compare your dolls to the American Girl dolls

I believe a very confident beginner knitter will be able to accomplish this project, as long as you are familiar with colorwork, and know how to switch from one yarn to another properly, or, as an alternative, how to use the duplicate stitch method. If you’re not experienced with any of these, please look up a tutorial. You will also need basic sewing skills to join some of the pieces.

The pdf file includes the written instructions, as well as a chart to guide you through the pattern.

For this pattern I used:

~ Mainstays 100% Acrylic yarn, 4-medium, in the colors Black and Yellow, but you can use any other 4-medium worsted weight yarn you choose.

~ Knitting needles size: US 8 - 5.00 mm
