I am Sam Hat
I was asked to make a Sam I Am hat for my 5 year old nephew (whose name is Sam) so of course I had to help him dress up for Dr. Seuss day at school.
This is a simple HDC hat worked in the round with a brim. It is meant to be slouchy like the Sam I Am hat in the books. It fit my 5 year old nephew perfectly (and he has a slightly large head - also fit me if a bit tight haha). You can make a bigger size by adding an extra increase row or two before the plain rows and maybe a couple of plain rows to the length.
It would work up well with any worsted weight yarn such as Bernat, Red Heart, Impeccable, etc.
Please enjoy and let me know if you have any issues.
