This is a colourwork chart and pattern for a hooded scarf or ‘scoodie’ knit from end to end, knit in stockinette with a seed stitch border, inspired by Iron Fist. The colourwork can be done using intarsia, duplicate stitch, or should be adaptable for double knitting if you want to hide the wrong side of the fabric, though I am not experienced in this technique. The shaping for the hood is simple increases on one side and matching decreases on the other, which are then seamed together to create the hood. This project suits a beginner or up knitter who is willing to be adventurous with shaping, creating a border and colour changes.

You are free to make and sell non-commercial quantities of these, but do not re-distribute the pattern.

The pattern set is laid out as follows:
 Yarn options
 Scarf pattern
 Colourwork charts
 A non-exhaustive list of the techniques needed

I have assumed that you have basic knowledge of knitting and are also able to search for any techniques that you might not know, as most knitting techniques are best described by video. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me on Ravelry, Facebook (CatDragon Crafts) or Instagram (@thiswilldrivemecrazy)

As this is a scarf, gauge isn’t that important. Adjust the number of stitches to your desired scarf width and the row count to your preferred scarf length.
