Yarn and Colors
The pattern is most visible in colors with less variegation, but also works well to break up highly variegated colors.

Yardage and Sizes
See the photos for a table of all the sizes. Fits size Preemie (Newborn, Baby/Toddler) Child/Teen, Adult S (Adult M, Adult L). Beanie measures 12” (14”, 16”) 18”, 20” (22”, 24”) and is designed to fit with 1-3”/2.5-7.5cm of negative ease.

Construction
The beanie is worked in one piece from the top down. It’s worked in a spiral so there’s no visible seam.

sc, dc, ch, sl st, puff, increases and decreases, counting rows, working into the ch-space, working in the round, magic ring

Overview of the Finished Object
The beanie is worked from the top down. The center back is all squishy puffs, it breaks out into a series of puffy hearts, columns of which swirl down the side of the beanie. The beanie ends without a noticeable border.
