This hat is surprisingly quick and easy to make, and gives a knit-look even though it is crocheted. The only special stitch needed is the half-double crochet in the third loop. A link to a tutorial on this stitch is included in the pattern and can also easily be searched on YouTube. This pattern is labeled as intermediate, but is readily accessible to the adventurous beginner after watching the half-double crochet in the third loop tutorial.

Gauge: Guage is not particularly important for this project. The pattern is for an adult head, with adjustments in the pattern for a child size also listed.
