This is based on the Valentine’s Day card that Ralph received from Lisa on The Simpsons. Lots of sewing, but great if you want to make something challenging.

The finished toy measures to be roughly 5.5 inches long.

This is the list of terminology you need to know for this pattern:
st(s): stitch(es)
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
inc: two single crochets in one stitch
dec: invisible decrease, single crochet two stitches together through the front loops only
sc3tog: triple invisible decrease, single crochet three stitches together through the front loops only
sl st: slip stitch
BLO: crochet only in the back loops (loop away from you) of each stitch
FLO: crochet only in the front loops (loop closest to you) of each stitch
(…) x # : repeat anything in the parenthesis however many times the number indicates

sc #: sc # times in the next stitch

And these are the materials you will need to create this toy:
Lavender, Violet, White, Yellow, Red, Pink Yarn (sport weight)
Optional: Beige sport weight Yarn
Wool Roving in White, Coral and Black and a felting needle (or pieces of felt that you can cut into the shape of the mouth)
6mm safety eyes and matching backings
3mm Crochet Hook
Polyfill or Cotton for stuffing
Scissors
Darning Needle
Stitch Marker
