I-Cord Chain Scarf
This scarf is very thick and warm. It is reversible.
I couldn’t find a yarn thick enough to equal one stitch per inch so I made an I-cord from #4 Worsted yarn and then used the I-cord to knit the scarf.
One skein of the #4 Worsted yarn (182 yards) made 3 yards-6 inches of I-cord. It took 6 skeins to make 19 yards of I-cord from which the sample is made. I started knitting the scarf while making the I-cord. This way I knew when I had enough I-cord as yarn for the size scarf I wanted.
The I-cord is made on 2 dpn, Size 11.
The scarf is knitted on 2 straight needles, Size 35.
