A simple heart design which will look good on solid, semi solid or flecked wool. It may not show as prominent on striped wool but with a little adjustment you could work the cable in colour to make it pop.

Adjust the size by not doing the mock cables to make it smaller or add extra stitches in either side of the cables. As long as you have an even number of cast on stitches the picot edge should work.
